Chainsaw Training – 24-25th June

There are spaces available at an upcoming chainsaw training course organised by WAI Wānaka. The training is provided through Thoughtplanters and attendees will achieve certification in US29297 L3.

Farm Mapping Webinar

The NZ Landcare Trust is hosting a series of one-hour webinars for landowners and catchment groups across Aotearoa with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) specialist, Dianne Zucchetto from Spatialize. This webinar will provide you with the technical know-how in creating a Farm Environment Plan-compliant map for your land, specific to your region.

OverseerFM Workshop

Learn more about the OverseerFM tool with Alastair Taylor.

Alastair Taylor from Overseer will be in Wanaka on 22nd June to run a workshop on the OverseerFM tool. The first half will be an introduction to OverseerFM, including the emissions calculator. The second half will be a more in depth workshop for those already using this tool but keen to understand more functionality or answer specific questions.

Lincoln University Centre for Excellence: Designing Future Productive Landscapes is hosting an online international workshop series: 

Grazing in Future Multi-Scapes

A virtual conference:
From thoughtscapes to landscapes, creating health from the ground up. This international workshop is to influence future mental and practical models of pastoralism in continually evolving multi-scapes. The workshop/conference will comprise a series of mini-workshop streams that have been crafted to cultivate a shift in thinking towards sustainable, multi-purpose pastoralism.
