WAI Wānaka is a non-profit community organisation with a vision of healthy ecosystems and community wellbeing for future generations.
We work with individuals, community groups, farmers, catchment groups, councils, schools and businesses to improve ecosystem health, reverse biodiversity loss and keep the water healthy.
OUR MAHI

COMMUNITY ACTION
As an empowered community we work together to serve the environment. By raising awareness of environmental issues and involving the community, we create a sense of responsibility to protect and enhance our ecosystem for years to come.

EDUCATION PROGRAMMES
Our strength lies in our connections with others. Our education programmes are building a passionate community of water advocates with the skills and knowledge to be the current and future voices for healthy water.
